Monday, November 22, 1993 - Frances Kennedy Nov. 20, 1993 - Frances V. Kennedy, 67, of Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in Ashley, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha Leonard Brady. She was educated in Ashley schools. She was a former member of St. Leo's Church, Ashley. She was also a member of Senior Citizens, Sugar Notch. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R., June 1960; daughter, Mary Ellen. Surviving are sons, William A., Wilkes-Barre; Timothy J., Exeter; Duane, Ashley; Eugene Vital, Plains; daughter, Alice Martha Hartman, Wapwallopen; 19 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Anna Gracey, Wilkes-Barre; Helen Duffy, Danielsville; Betty Cooney, Bethlehem; brother, John, Woodlyn. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home, 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, Ashley, with the Very Rev. Thomas J. O'Malley officiating. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter.
