    • Newspaper Obituary - May 30, 1994 Times Leader - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - William Sprake Jr. - May 29, 1994 - William H. Sprake Jr., of Waller Street, WIlkes-Barre, died Sunday at home. Born June 27, 1916, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late William and Hazel Kleintob Sprake Sr. He was a 1934 graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany. He was formerly employed at Holmes Metallic, Wilkes-Barre, for many years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wilkes-Barre. He was preceeded in death by his wife, the former Edith Dodson; brothers, Robert and Donald. Surviving are a son William H. III, Bear, Del.; daughter, Mrs. David (Pamela) Foote, Plymouth; two grandchildren; brother, Charles, San Antonio, Texas. Funeral services will be at a time to be announced Wednesday from the Mamary-Durkin Funeral Home Inc., 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
