    • Newspaper Obituary - September 17, 2001 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Rodney F. Murtaugh, 56, of Pennellville died Sunday. Born in Baltimore, Md., he lived in Pennellville for 30 years. He was an operating engineer for several construction firms and was a member of Operating Engineers Local 545, Syracuse. Survivors: A daughter, Donna Cavanaugh of Central Square; a son, Rodney Jr. of Pennellville; his mother, Margaret Murtaugh of Brewerton; a brother, Richard of Baldwinsville; four grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial, Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square.
