    • Newspaper Obituary - Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, the Evening News Mon, Jul 27, 1970 ·Page 26- Philip Kennedy - Philip Kennedy, 42 Dexter St., Lee Park, Hanover Township, died in Mercy Hospital yesterday at 1:30 a. m. Born in Plymouth, he resided in Hanover Township 50 years. He was employed many years at Vulcan Iron Works. Prior to retirement in 1964 he was elevator operator in the Blue Cross Building 15 years. He was a member of St. Aloysius Church. Surviving are his widow, the former Sarah Tasco; children, Philip Jr., Essex Junction, Vt.; Edward, Mrs. Richard Kaschner, Glen Burnie, Md.; Mrs. James Kane, Edwardsville; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Walter Reilly, Mary Kennedy, Newark. Funeral will be from the funeral home, 8 Lee Park Ave., Hanover Township, Tuesday at 9 with Requiem Mass at 9:30 in St. Aloysius Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call today 2 to 4 and 7 to 10.
