    • Newspaper Obituary - August 22, 2012 - Houston Chronicle - Texas - Jon E. Southwell, 37, of Houston, TX passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Jon was born and raised in Richland, NY moving to Houston after completing his degree at SUNY Oswego. Jon was vice president of tax and assistant treasurer at Rowan Companies. He possessed a brilliant tax mind and brought enthusiasm and a sense of humor to his work.Jon is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Southwell. He is survived by his wife Kimberly; sons Kyle E. and Conor S. Southwell; daughter Taylor L. Southwell; niece Kaylyn M. Slattery; grandmother Margaret Brodeur; father Joel H. Southwell Sr.; brother Joel H. Southwell Jr., his wife Sherrie and their children Cameron and Kathryn; brother James M. Southwell and his children Amanda and Joshua. A memorial service celebrating Jon's life will be 2PM, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Klein Funeral Home Chapel.
