    • Mary E. (Maurer) Harp, (24 Nov 1916 - 24 Sep 2007), Patriot-News, The (Harrisburg, PA) - Wednesday, September 26, 2007 MILLERSTOWN - Mary E. Harp, 90, of Millerstown, passed away Monday at The Manor at Perry Village, New Bloomfield. Mary was born November 24, 1916 in Millerstown, to the late John and Elsie Paden Maurer. She had worked for the railroad and the State of Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of the former Millerstown High School and a member of the Millerstown United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Frederick R. Harp, Sr., who died March 30, 1992. Surviving are two sons, Frederick R. Harp, Jr., and Michael E. Harp; a daughter, Paula H. Smith, all of Millerstown; a sister, Fern Bowman of Annville; a sister-in- law, Anna Maurer of Shamokin Dam; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2007 in the Millerstown Riverview Cemetery, with the Rev. Patricia A. Woolever officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Millerstown Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 204, Millerstown, PA 17062, or to a favorite charity.
