      Life Legacy

      Oswego - Jane B. Savage, 84, a resident of 97 West 3rd St in Oswego, passed away Tuesday, in Loretto-Heights Nursing Home. Mrs. Savage was born in Fulton on October 25, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Bessie (York) Billings. She had been employed at the Nestlé's Corp. in Fulton, retiring in 1976 after 27 years of service. After retiring from Nestle's, she and her husband Harry bought and sold antiques in Oswego and Florida. She was well-known and will be remembered for her large yard sales. She was a generous, caring woman who was known to help many people in need. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry Savage of Oswego; a daughter, Ann (Jim) Peterson of Oswego; 3 grandchildren, Jane (John) Eason of Oswego, Jim (Lesa) Peterson of Oswego, and Jay (Dina) Peterson of Oswego; 5 great-grandchildren, Zachary and Brooke Eason, Cassandra and Austen Peterson, and Emily Peterson, all of Oswego; and three nieces, Anita Morrell of Florida, Betty Malone of Oswego, and May Ann Hall of Hannibal. She was predeceased by a sister Annie Corey; and three brothers, Earl, Lester, and Philip Billings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 6:00 to 9:00pm Thursday, at the funeral home, 112 East Second St. in Oswego.
