    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 20, 1901 Evening World - New York, New York - Two Deaths from Small-Pox - The authorities at North Brother Island reported to the Board of Health today that Samuel Davis, forty-two years old, of No. 146 West One Hundred and Third street; and Clarence Cotton, twenty-one years old, of No. 306 West Forty-fourth street, had died last night of small-pox. Lissie Koener, twelve years old, of No. 181 Greenpoint avenue, Brooklyn, was reported this morning as suffering from small-pox.
