    • Newspaper Obituary - March 15, 1951 Duncannon Record - Duncannon Pennsylvania - John M. Lewis - John M. Lewis, formerlyof 908 Market Street, Duncannon, died Sunday in a small plane crash 110 miles northeast of Anchorage Alaska. Lewis, a graduate of the Duncannon High School, was employed by the Philco Radio Corporation as a radio technician, having been in Alaska the past two years. He had been helping to install a communication system at Elmendor Air Force Base. He had taken off in the light plane from a landing strip at a hunting lodge near Sheep Mountain. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Submarine branch of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jacob McKelvey, of 908 Market Street, this place; a brother, Paul, of Alabama; and several half-sisters and half-brothers.
