      On Friday, after a few days illness with pneumonia, occurred the death of Asel Higby, of Crofoot Hill, at the advanced ago of 86 years. Deceased was born near his late home and, with the exception of a few years, had always resided on the hill. He leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters, to whom is extended the condolence of friends. The funeral was held Sunday, Rev. G. W. Bent officiating.
