Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 14, 1948 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - The body of Miss Fredia Mae Harmes, 19, who died Monday in Avon, was brought to the Haimies home in Fernwood late Tuesday, where funeral services will be held privately at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev_ E. Starks Beebe of Fernwood Methodist church, with burial in South Richland cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Arlie Barclay Harmes and was born June 21, 1928. She had always made her home in the vicinity of Fernwood and Mexico. Surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Nichols, Mrs. Arvis Hardy, Mexico, Mrs. Nila Carpenter, Pulaski, Mrs. Ruth Clohosney, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Miss Velma Harmes, Fri',wood, Mrs. Pauline Cornwell, West Monroe, and Mrs. Robert Johnson, Fulton, and four brothers, Harold Harmes, Avon, Elroy, Mexico, Myron Harmes, Fernwood, and Jack Barclay, Pulaski.
