- Funeral Services Held For Clifford Zufelt, 49
Clifford B. Zufelt, 49, carpenter, father of ten children died in the Mercy hospital, Watertown, Thursday afternoon, August 7, 1947 at 4:15 where he had been a patient four days. Mr. Zufelt suffered a stroke at his home on Sunday.
Funeral services were held from the home of a half brother, James Ridgeway, Lacona, Saturday afternoon at 3. Rev. Herbert Harrison, pastor of the Sandy Creek Methodist church officiated.
Burial was made in the Wesleyan cemetery.
Mr. Zufelt was born in Lorraine November 5, 1897, a son of the late Bert and Olive James Zufelt. He was educated and spent his early life in Boylston. He married Miss Edith L. Brown in Boylston on Oct. 1, 1921. Mr. Zufelt was a member of the Boylston Rising Sun Grange.
Surviving Mr., Zufelt are his wife Mrs. Edith B. Zufelt, Lacona, five daughters, Mrs. Mable O'Brien, Rochester, Mrs. Evelyn Weaver, Sandy Creek, Miss Belva Zufelt, Rochester, Miss Marilyn Zufelt, and Miss Isabella Zufelt, Lacona, five sons, Clifford B. Zufelt, Jr., Robert N. Zufelt, Dennis, Richard and Charles Zufelt all of Lacona. A stepfather Myron Ridgeway, three half brothers, Jam'es Ridgeway of Lacona, Leon Ridgeway, Sandy Creek, Myron Ridgeway, Jr., Rome; two half sisters, Mrs. Avis Branche of Beaver Falls and Mrs. Olive Hammond of Pulaski, also by one grandson, James Zufelt, Lacona
