Charley C. Reynolds, 71, of 1952 County Route 2, died Thursday in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospital, Syracuse.
Mr. Reynolds worked for the state Department of Transportation for 25 years, retiring in 1985. He previously had worked for several years for New York Central Railroad.
Born Jan. 31, 1931, in Richland, son of Chauncey and Frances Beehm Reynolds, he attended Pulaski schools and served in the Army.
He moved to Orwell in 1960.
He was a member of Orwell United Methodist Church, Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358, Pulaski, and Pulaski Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289.
Surviving are three stepsons, Anthony Cavallaro, Binghamton, Guy Stevens, Lakeland,. Fla., and Terry Stevens, Rochester; two stepdaughters, Linda Stevens, Pulaski, and Rita Williams, Parish; a sister, Shirley Reynolds, Brewerton, 13 stepgrandchildren and five step- great-grandchildren.
His wife, Eldora T. Thomas, died Aug. 30, 1997.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Wayne Grow, pastor of Orwell United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Charley C. Reynolds, 71, of 1952 county Route 2, Orwell, died Thursday. Born in Richland, he lived in Orwell since 1960 and attended Pulaski Academy High School. He retired in 1985 after 25 years with the state Department of Transportation in Mexico. He worked for New York Central Railroad for several years and was a member of Orwell United Methodist Church. He was a member of Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358 in Pulaski and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289. He was an Army veteran and served from 1950 to 1953. His wife, the former Eldora Thomas, died in 1997.
Survivors: Two daughters, Linda Stevens of Pulaski and Rita Williams of Parish; three sons, Anthony Cavallaro of Binghamton, Guy Stevens of Lakeland, Fla., and Terry Stevens of Rochester; a sister, Shirley Reynolds of Brewerton; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
