Notes - Beatrice "Elaine" Cronk, 72, life resident of Altmar, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Elaine was born September 20, 1940, in Yonkers. She graduated from Altmar High School. Elaine married Kenneth Cronk on June 20, 1959; he died March 15, 2006. Surviving: two sons, Kenneth Cronk Jr. of Richland and Bryant (Christine) Cronk of Altmar; four daughters, Valerie Rose of Altmar, JoeAnne Janack of Altmar, Rose Snyder of Pulaski and Deborah Blowers of Altmar; four sisters, Mary Wadsworth and Pat Ashmall, both of Black River, Marie Ashmall of Fulton and Alice Dana of Altmar; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Calling hours will be 9:30 to 11 a.m., prior to the funeral.
