Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 8, 1917 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - In the death of Mrs. Lucy A. Wilson, aged 78, which occurred in Oswego, Saturday afternoon, this world lost one of the noblest characters, one of the sweetest women a community would care to possess. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Sandy Creek. She was the daughter of the late Ashabel Wheeler. As a teacher she was loved sincerely; in her home she was always a light and joy. She was united in marriage with Morris S. Wilson who died several years ago and has been the companion of her daughter, Mrs. Roy W. Nutting, and a part of her daughter's family circle since she has been in a home of her own. Mrs. Wilson is survived by two sons, E. B., of Woodville and Henry of Chatsworth, California, and two daughters, Mrs. L. J. Farmer, of Pulaski and Mrs. Nutting with whom she resided, in Oswego. Several weeks ago Mrs. Wilson fell in the home and sustained injuries from which she never recovered. Up to six years ago she resided in this village. but went to Oswego then, when her daughter and family took up their home in that city. Mrs. Wilson was a devoted Christian and loved her church privileges. Her funeral was held in Oswego, at eleven o'clock Monday. Burial in Pulaski. Rev. E. A. Rogers, of this village conducted the services. Many friends were here from away and also from Pulaski and vicinity.
