- Andrew A. Wheeler, 77, of Altmar, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Willard Sanderson in Pulaski, Tuesday, following a stroke suffered Saturday night.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Fosdick, 64 Railroad St., Camden. The Rev. Harley S. Hill, pastor of the Altmar Methodist Church, will be officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery at Williamstown.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Britton Wheeler; three daughters, Mrs. Fosdick, Mrs. Oakley Mowers of Altmar and Mrs. Sanderson; two granddaughters and a great-grandson; two brothers, Charles Wheeler of Ricard, and William Wheeler of Altmar.
Mr. Wheeler was born in Mannsville Feb. 16, 1879 the son of Albert and Sarah Bunworth Wheeler. He was a retired farmer having spent most of his life in Williamstown and moved to Altmar eight years ago. He was a member of the Altmar Grange. He was married to Carrie Britton in Altmar March 29, 1903.
