    • Newspaper Obituary - August 2, 1980 Citizens Voice - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - Mrs. Elizabeth Tobin - Mrs. Elizabeth M. Kennedy Tobin, 30 E. St. Mary's Rd., Hanover Township, died Friday night in Mercy Hospital where she was admitted Thursday. Born Aug. 3, 1899, in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Foley Kennedy. She was a graduate of Larksville High School and was in the floral business with her husband. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church, Wilkes-Barre, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Third Order of St. Francis. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. June Wright, Detroit; Mrs. Jeane Gilroy, Norht Burnswick, N.J., and Mary Jean Cooney, with whom she resided. Funeral will be Tuesday at 9 from the Mamary-Durkin Funeral Home, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, with mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Aloysius Church. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 7 to 9, Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
