      Obituary of Lynn Holthouse

      Lynn E. Holthouse, age 68, a man of strong will and strong faith, and a resident of Pulaski since 1960, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Lynn was born July 23, 1950 in Oswego, the son of Milton and Barbara Church Holthouse. He was born with a congenital heart disorder but defied the medical odds to live a full and productive life. He graduated from Pulaski Central School in 1968 and attended Alfred State University. Lynn married Judith Isham on July 8, 1989. He began working at Constellation Nuclear in 1986 and became a licensed reactor operator in 1992, where he continued to work until his retirement in 2002. He previously owned K & L Shoe Store in Pulaski and the Pulaski Department Store. Lynn was a former member and President of the Pulaski Kiwanis Club. He was a member and Deacon of the Pulaski Baptist Church. Lynn was also a member of the Monday and Wednesday night golf league at the Elms Golf Course.

      Surviving are his wife, Judith, two sons, Matthew Holthouse of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, and Adam (Ashley) Holthouse of Cumming, GA, one daughter, Rachel Cerulli of Cape Cod, MA, two step-daughters, Sharron (John) Oakes of Pulaski and Monica (Rick) Borczuk of Liverpool, one stepson, Paul (Shannon) Isham of Oswego, one brother, Gary Holthouse of Stillwater, MN, and one sister Barbara (Jim) Gayne of Altmar and 14 grandchildren.

      A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 27th at the Pulaski Baptist Church, 7 Bridge Street, Pulaski, NY 13142 with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home 52, Park Street, Pulaski.
