Robert E. Burdick, 84, of 31 Gerdon Drive,Richland,formerly of Scriba,died Monday at his daughter's home in Richland.
He was born in Oswego. He retired in 1982 after 19 years with Schoeller Technical Papers, Pulaski, and previously worked 23 years at Ames Iron Works, Oswego. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pulaski, a fourth-degree member of Knights of Columbus and a charter member of Scriba Volunteer Fire Department.
A son, Daniel, died in 1968; a daughter, Roberta Burdick, died in 1952.
Survivors: His wife, the former Dorothy M. Vickery; a daughter, Betty J. Warren of Richland; two sons, James E. of Athens, Tenn., and Joseph R. of Herkimer; two sisters, Viola Roach and Ethel Carey, both of Oswego; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial, St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
