- Newspaper Obituary - December 8, 1958 Wilkes-Barre Times Leader - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - Miss Alice Kennedy Dies at Kingston - Miss Alice Kennedy of 356 Market Street, Kingston, died last night at 6:15 at home. Born in Larksville, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Ellen Murphy Kennedy, pioneer residents of Larksville. Miss Kennedy resided in Kingston the last 15 years. She was employed as a clerk typist for the State Department of Health at Kirby Memorial Health Center, North Franklin Street, for the last 18 years. Miss Kennedy was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and its societies. Her mother and father died in 1947. She is survived by sisters and brothers, Winifred and Mrs. Joseph Kubish, both at home; Eugene and William, both of Wilkes-Barre; Joseph, Millburn, N.J.; Paul, Washington, D.C., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the home. Friends may call after 7 tonight. Arrangements by John J. Maher.
