    • Newspaper Obituary - June 30, 1979 Times Leader - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - Winifred M. Kennedy, Lee Park Towers, Lee Park, died Friday morning at the Valley Crest nursing home. Born in Larksville, she resided in Kingston most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Ellen Murphy Kennedy. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kubish of Kingston; two brothers, Eugene Kennedy of Plainsville, Pa., and Joseph Kennedy of Roselle Park, N.J.; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday at 9 a.m. from the John J. Maher Funeral Home, 360 N. Maple Ave., Kington. Mass of Christian Burial at 9;30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Interment in the parish cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
