    • Newspaper Obituary - January 13, 1908 Wilkes-Barre Record - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - MARY KENNEDY PASSES AWAY - Shortly after 9 o'clock yesterday morning occurred the death of Miss Mary Kennedy at her home on Willow street of dropsy, from which she had been a sufferer for some time past. Deceased was about 23 years of age and a young lady who was well thought of by many acquaintances. She is survived by her father, James Kennedy; three brothers, Thomas, Eugene and William, at home; also two sisters, Elizabeth and Annie; the later is married and a resident of Philadelphia.

      Newspaper Obituary - January 14, 1908 Wilkes-Barre Times Leader - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - Miss Mary Kennedy Buried - The funeral of Miss Mary Kennedy was held this morning and the large number of friends that attended was a mark of the popularity of the young lady. The funeral was held from the residence of her father, James J. Kennedy, on Willow street and the remains were taken to St. Vincent's church, where a low mass was celebrated by Rev. Thomas O'Malley. The pall bearers were Patrick Hardman, Eugene Bosso, John Crondon, Bernard Kline, Patrick Finn and Andrew Corbett. The remains were laid at rest in St. Vincent's cemetery.
