- Newspaper Obituary - January 24, 1974 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Eva Green, age 54, dies - Eva I. Green 54, of 7401 Port St., Pulaski died Friday, July 19 from injuries sustained in a car accident which occurred the night before. She was born on July 28, 1919 at Pierrepoint Manor the daughter of William and Florence Spicer Hilton. She attended the Pulaski Academy and later married James F. Green on Oct. 15, 1947. The couple lived in Pulaski all their married life. Mrs. Green worked at the General Electric Company, Syracuse for several years. She was a member of the Robert Edwards American Legion Post Auxiliary No. 358. She was also a member of the local V.F.W. No. 7289 Auxiliary where she was a past president. Surviving are her husband, James F. Green, Pulaski; her mother, Mrs. Florence Hilton of Oswego; two sons, Fred C. Learned, Lakeland, Fla. and James W. Green, Pulaski; one daughter, Mrs. Harlan (Linda) Frank, Pulaski five grandchildren; one halfsister, Mrs. Corleen Wilbur, Utica; one half-brother, Robert Hilton, Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski with the Rev. Jerry Miller officiating. Burial in Pulaski Cemetery.
