Perry A. Yerdon, 71, Redfield, died Tuesday at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City.
Mr. Yerdon was employed by Camden Wire Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1998. He also worked for Aire Serv for several years.
Born March 10, 1937, in Syracuse, son of Clayton and Erma Mead Yerdon, he had lived in Redfield since 1948 and graduated in 1955 from Sandy Creek Central School.
He married Gloria M. Yerdon on Dec. 2, 1967.
Surviving besides his wife are a son and his wife, Jason P. and Melissa, Redfield; two daughters and their husbands, Lisa and Robert Earnshaw, Fulton, and Lucille and Paul Pretory, Redfield; a brother, Thomas, Redfield; a sister, Suzanne Leddy, Philadelphia, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Greenboro Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
