- Obituary for Norbert Carter
Norbert J. Carter II, 66, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday after a long illness. His friends knew him as Butch or Nibs. He was a member of the Anchorage Yacht Club and the Bridgeport VFW.
Survivors: his wife, Linda (Hubbs); two sons, Norbert III and Brian; a sister, Eileen Rockefeller; three brothers, Robert Walsh, John and Phillip Carter; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, with one more expected; an aunt, Violet Hoffman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 11:00 am Tuesday at Russell H. Schepp & Son Funeral Home. Burial at Pine Plains Cemetery, North Manlius. Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday at the funeral home, 109 East Avenue, Minoa.
