Kristen B. Russell, aged 34, life resident of Pulaski passed away unexpectedly Thursday at her mother's home. Kristen was born August 1, 1981 in Watertown. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1999 and from SUNY Potsdam in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree. She earned her master's from the University of Phoenix. Kristen married Mark Russell on July 12, 2008. She was employed by Soule Road Elementary School in the Liverpool School District for the past nine years. She was previously employed by Houston Independent School District for three years. Kristen was a member of the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski.
Surviving are her husband, Mark J.; and their children, Gavin, Audrey, Emery and Mac; her mother, Donna (John) Darling of Pulaski; father, Ken Nassoiy of Pulaski; one brother, Thurman (Brent) Nassoiy-Robinson of Houston; two sisters, Lisa (Sean Michaels) Haskins of Fairport and Gennifer Masters of Lakeland; maternal grandparents, Mary Manwaring of Auburn and Robert Manwaring of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews. Kristen was predeceased by her brother, Justin Nassoiy, who passed away, March 18, 2003.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, at the Park United Methodist Church, 2 Hubble Street in Pulaski, with a spring burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
