    • Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Connie Rogala age 68, of Erie, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Golden Living Center Walnut Creek. She was born January 15, 1942 in Sandy Creek, NY, a daughter of Eliza Stewart Weaver. She attended Sandy Creek Central High School and worked for many years as a waitress and barmaid for Howard Johnson's Resturant, The Bel Aire and the Kahkwa Club. She enjoyed playing canasta, bowling and traveling with her husband, George.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her husband George Rogala, two daughters; Kimberly (Joe) Shoop, Kelly "Brian" Tingley and a son Todd Chapman all of Erie. She also leaves three step-children; Ricky and Tim Rogala and Lynn Marie (Tom) Zastawney also all of Erie, along with 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her sisters Marge Bailey, Betty Kimball and Helen Adams all of Sandy Creek, NY also survive along with a brother Mac (Alice) Weaver, of Orlando, FL. Services were private and under the care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street Erie, PA, 16502. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery Sandy Creek, NY.
