    • Newspaper Obituary - December 14, 1987 Banner Times - H. Lee Weaver - Services for H. Lee Weaver, 91, of East First Street, Sandy Creek, who died Sunday, December 6, 1987 at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton were at 11am Wednesday at Summerville Funeral Home. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours were 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday at the funeral home, 8192 Harwood Drive. He was born May 22, 1896 in Sandy Creek, the son of the late Herbert and Sarah Brown Weaver. He was educated in local schools. Mr. Weaver was a life resident of Sandy Creek. He retired from Blount Lumber Co. Lacona, and previously was employed with the town of Sandy Creek Highway Department. His first wife, the former Eliza Stewart, died in 1970 and his second wife, the former Mary Waite, died in 1978. Mr. Weaver was a retired member of the Sandy Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Surviving are four sons, Mac of Orlando, Fl, Robert of Mexico, Clarence of Pulaski and James of Lacona, 10 daughters, Betty Kimball, Judith Burnett and Marge Bailey, all of Sandy Creek, Connie Rogala of Gary, Pa, Evelyn Morton of Mexico, Helen Adams of Liverpool, Mary Jane Tanner of Fulton, Penny Waite of New Jersey and Nacy Shue and Louis Knoop, both of Florida; 52 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two daughters; Vivian Chatterton and Madeline Ridgeway and one son, Donald Weaver.
