Newspaper Obituary - Friday, December 27, 1957 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Clifford L. Drake, 30, husband of Sally Brown Drake, died Friday morning at his home in Port Ontario after an illness of several months. Born on September 22, 1927 in Oswego, the son of Arthur and Agnes Tool Drake, he spent his early life in Oswego and attended public schools there. He later moved to Pulaski with his parents and for the past 12 years has been employed in the maintenance department as caretaker at Selkirk Shores State Park. Surviving besides his wife and parents, are one son, Clifford, 6; one brother, Arthur H. Drake of Fulton; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Poe of Tampa, Florida; Mrs. Neil (June) Watson and Mrs. Edward (Irene) Mylnar, both of Oswego; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 29, at 2 p.m. at the Foster funeral home in Pulaski with the Rev. Russell Clark, pastor of Park Methodist church, officiating. The body will be taken to Waterville for cremation. Friends may call at the Foster funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
