Notes - Online Obituary of Lois Roberts - Lois H. Roberts, at the age of 90, was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Sentara General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Lois was a life resident of Pulaski where she was born September 2, 1928, the daughter of William and Lillie Bush Howlett. She graduated from Pulaski Academy Schools in 1946. Lois was married to Elmer James Roberts on February 8, 1947 and he passed away February 27, 1992. She was employed by Pulaski Central School District as a cook manager for 21 years, retiring in 1990. Lois was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and she enjoyed spending her winters in Florida. Surviving are four daughters, Sandra (Ron) Cornell of Fulton, Julie (Steve) Nunemaker of Pennsylvania, Cindy Conner of New Port Richey, FL, Valerie Redhead of Virginia, two sons, Michael Roberts of New Port Richey, FL and William (Kim) Roberts of Pulaski, one daughter- in-law, Linda Roberts of Pulaski, and three brothers, William Howlett of Texas, Charles Howlett of Adams Center and Carl Howlett of Pulaski, 16 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Lois was predeceased by one son, Thomas Roberts, February 9, 2011. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12th at the Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Route 11 in Pulaski with spring burial in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Donations may be made in Lois’ memory to the Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Route 11, Pulaski, NY 13142.
