    • Newspaper Obituary - April 2, 1980 Sandy Creek News - Lyda M. Miller, 79 - Mrs. Lyda Mae Miller, 79, Hadley Road, Sandy Creek, wife of Floyd W. Miller, died Sunday morning at Oswego City Hospital where she was admitted March 21. Born Jan. 26, 1901 in the Town of Albion, a daughter of Solomon and Mary Spencer Richardson, she attended Altmar schools and married Floyd Miller, March 26, 1920, in Altmar. She lived at Sandy Creek since 1944. She is survived by her husband, Floyd; two sons, Floyd Miller Jr., Sandy Creek and Henry Miller, Weedsport; two daughters, Hazel Salisbury, Mannsville, and Mrs. Jennie Briggs, Sandy Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Luella Mouck, Pulaski and Mrs. Gerald (Laura) Cole, Parish; 22 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Mary Weaver, died Nov. 25, 1978. The funeral was 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sumerville Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil H. Hager, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours were 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
