PHOENIX - Mrs. Bertha L Clyde, 83, of Pennellville, widow of James Clyde, died Friday in a Utica hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Clyde was born in Dugway but had resided most of her life in Pennellville. She attended Pennellville Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Avis Smith and Mrs. Agatha Klein, a son, Maurice Mathews a sister; Mrs Pearl Chapman, California and a brother, Avery Sharpe, Pulaski.
Services were today. The Rev. Charles M. Ouderkirk, pastor officiated, burial in Dugway Cemetery.
