      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, January 30, 1999 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Clarence L. Waite, Jr. Greyhound Mechanic - Clarence L. Waite Jr., 53, of 54 Ivens Road, died Friday morning at his home, where he was under the care of Oswego County Hospice. He had been ill with cancer. Mr. Waite had lived in Pulaski for the last 26 years. He was a mechanic for Greyhound Bus Co., Syracuse. Born June 22, 1945, at Lacona, son of Clarence L. Sr. and Mary Miller Waite, he was educated in Sandy Creek schools. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from October 18, 1965, to September 5, 1967. He married Mary A. Timmerman on May 21, 1972, at Pulaski. Surviving besides his wife and his father, of Camden, are a daughter, Kelly Roberts, Pulaski; two sons, Clayton and Matthew, both of Pulaski; five sisters, Judy Burnett, Sandy Creek, Mary Jane Weaver, Fulton, Penny Waite, New Jersey, Nancy Roberts, Florida, and Louise Knopp, Louisiana; a half brother, James Weaver, South Carolina, and four granddaughters. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Brian Snyder, pastor of Boylston Wesleyan Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, town of Richland. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
