Newspaper Obituary- Monday, May 30, 1983 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Cecile it Woods, 86 - Cecile R. Woods, 86, of Pulaski died Monday morning, May 23, in the Harwood Nursing Home, Oswego, after a long illness. She was born March 8, 1897, in Pulaski to Joseph and Emily Edwards Reese. She graduated from Pulaski Academy and Pulaski's Teacher's Training Class, and taught first grade in the Richland Elementary School for many years. She was a member of the Pulaski Congregational Church_ Pulaski Chapter 159, OES, and the Oswego County Retired Teachers' Association. She married Chauncey Woods in 1920. He died July 5, 1948. She is survived by two cousins, Mrs. Irene Woods of Pulaski, and Mrs. Reber Kessler, Andover, New York; a niece, Mrs. Mary Lou Dewey of Pulaski and a nephew, James A. Woods of Charleston, South Carolina. Services were at 1 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. John Howell officiating burial in the Pulaski Cemetery.
