      Matie J. Harman, 82, of 9 S. Fourth St. died Saturday at Oswego Hospital.

      She was born in Richland and had resided in Fulton for 19 years. She had been employed at the Philips Nursing Home in Syracuse. She was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. She was a member of the local C.B. Club, with the identity of ``Cotton Top Special.''

      Surviving are her husband, Floyd E. Harman; a son, Robert L. Harman of North Syracuse; a sister, Frances Holden of Fulton; two brothers, Andrew Babcock of Pulaski and Roy Babcock of Eastwood; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

      Calling hours at the funeral home, 322 Oneida St., are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

      Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
