Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 27, 1947 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Services Held For Charles Babcock - Committal services were held at the vault in Pulaski cemetery for Charles Babcock, 74, Monday at 12:30 p.m. Mr. Babcock passed away at his home on Gifford Street, Syracuse, last Thursday night. Regular services were held at 8:45 a.m. from 2806 Midland Avenue and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Lucy's church, Syracuse. The deceased was born in Constantia September 28, 1872, son of Curtis and Jane Sutherland Babcock, but had made his home for many years in the vicinity of Pulaski and at one time was employed by the late E. J. Seiter in his plant here. He was retired and had been living in Syracuse some time. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia Bovay Babcock; seven sons, Andrew, Alexander, Clarence, Elmer, Roy and Lyle Babcock, Syracuse, and William Babcock, Pulaski; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Dodge and Mrs. Floyd Harmon, Syracuse, and Mrs. Edward Holden, Fulton, and one brother, Delbert Babcock, Pulaski.
