      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 7, 1897 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this village, April 4th, 1897, William Wightman, aged 60 years. William Wrightman was born in the town of Parish. He enlisted in Company I, 24th New York Cavalry in 1863 and remained in service until June, 1865. He has been a resident of this town for a good many years and was respected by a large circle of friends. He leaves a widow and one son. His funeral was held at the late residence yesterday at 10 o'clock.
