- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 28, 1878 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - Weed - In this village, February 24th 1870. of consumption, Florance F. Weed, aged 22 years and six months. The deceased was a brother of Mr. W. _. Weed, foreman in the Democrat office. He was a printer by occupation, and the most rapid compositor in this portion of the state. He learned his trade in this village and has been connected with the Times and Dispatch of Watertown, Republican of Carthage, and the Journal and Republican of Lowville. He leaves a wife and many friends who deeply mourned his loss.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 7, 1878 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - Florance F. Weed, a former employee in this office, died in Pulaski last Sunday, February 24th, aged 22 years. In the death of Mr. Weed the printing trade loses an intelligent and skillful workman. His record is a skillful compositor, made in this office, has never been equaled, to our knowledge in this state. -Carthage Republican.
