    • Pulaski - Feb. 18 - Mrs. Jane Anne Austin, 76, widow of Daniel W. Austin and for nearly 20 years a resident of Pulaski, died suddenly yesterday at the resident of her son, Dennis Nichols, Brewerton, where she had been passing a few weeks. Mrs. Austin was born in Williamstown, Oswego county, September 9, 1844. She was a member of J. B. Butler's Women's Relieve corps., Pulaski. Her husband died in Syracuse several years ago.

      Surviving are two sons, Charles H. Nichols, undersheriff at the Oswego jail, and Dennis Nichols of Brewerton and two daughters, Mrs. George Van Alsytne of Chaumont and Mrs. Frederick Baker of Rochester.

      Funeral services will be held in the First Methodist Episcopal church here Saturday afternoon. Burial will be made in the Williamstown cemetery.
