      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 16, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - William Bliss, an old and well known resident of this village, died at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. He was about 77 years old, and had been living alone in the old Bliss House Block and fell down stairs a short time ago. While he sustained severe bruises about the head in various parts of the body as a result of the fall, he was able to be about his room until last Tuesday at about 10 o'clock, when he was taken suddenly ill and sank gradually until the end came. Mr. Bliss has been a resident of this village for many years and the number of years ago conducted the Bliss House. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Moore, of Claremont, New Hampshire, who was in town to attend the funeral, which was held Saturday. His wife died many years ago.

Bliss, who died in Pulaski November 9, 1904, has been filed in the County Clerk's office and letters testamentary issued to the daughter, Helen M. Moore, of Claremont, New Hampshire. The petition shows that Mr. Bliss left an estate of $4,000 real and $500 personal property, all of which is willed to the daughter.
