Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 1, 1955 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Miss Peterson, 35, Long Ill, Dies -Miss Edith Peterson, 35, died Wednesday in the University Hospital at Syracuse, following a long illness. She had been in ill health since four years old when she was stricken with polio. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Peterson of Farmer's Corners; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peterson of Mexico; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Charles O'Brien of Bernhards Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Davey of Minetto, Mrs. Elizabeth Lawrence of Fulton and Mrs. Viola Kennison of Pulaski; two brothers, Vernon Peterson of Seeber Shores and Cecil Peterson Jr., of the United States Army stationed in Alaska; several nieces and nephews. Miss Peterson was born in Williamstown, June 4, 1920, the daughter of Cecil and Nellie O'Brien Peterson. She lived in the Pulaski area several years. She had a hobby of designing and making dolls and doll clothing, which she sold. Services were held from the Taylor funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James N. Pauley, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Pulaski Cemetery.
