Harry “Cy” Steward age about 60 years of
age died suddenly at San Antonio, Texas
on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. of a heart
attack. He had been in poor health for
several months, but his condition was not
believed serious and word of his sudden
death came as a shock to relatives and
friends.
Cy spent most of his life in the Irving
community where he operated several
farms. He has many friends throughout
the county who will regret to learn of
his death.
He is survived by his half-sister, Mrs.
Emily Layton; a half-brother, Alfred
Hawke, both of Irving, Kansas and a
number of other relatives and friends.
The remains were brought to Irving
where funeral services were held this
afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
Burial was in the family cemetery in
Irving.
