      Charles L. Watters Sr., 48, Stacey Drive, project manager for ABL Plumbing & Mechanical Corp., Syracuse, died Monday afternoon at his home. He had been ill with cancer.

      The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Pulaski Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Glen Bosak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in North Boylston Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be 7 to 9 this evening and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., Pulaski.

      Surviving are his wife, Gayle; two sons, Charles L. Jr., Pulaski, and Matthew H., Boylston; a daughter, Valerie S., Boylston; two brothers, his twin, Clarence T., Parish, and Richard F., Pulaski; two sisters, Charlene Russell and Joanne Seymour, both of Oswego, and several nieces and nephews.

      He was born Sept. 15, 1942, in Oswego, a son of Charles and Ruth Doolittle Watters. He attended Mexico and Oswego district schools and served in Navy from 1962 to 1968.

      He married Gayle Brosnan March 26, 1966. The couple lived in Dugway from 1966 to 1985, before moving to Boylston.

      Mr. Watters was a project manager for ABL Plumbing & Mechanical Corp. in Syracuse. He had managed the company's work on the Fort Drum project for the past several years.

      Mr. Watters was a member of the Society of American Military Engineers, Fort Drum chapter, and the Robert Edwards Post 358, American Legion, Pulaski, and a member and past officer of the Tug Hill Snowmobile Club. He attended the Pulaski Wesleyan Church.
