      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 19, 1976 Pulaski Democrat - ulaski, New York - H. W. Canuite dies at 77 - Harold W. Carnrite, 77, passed away May 11, at the Har-Wood Nursing Home, Oswego, where he had been a patient 2'h years. Born in Oswego on November 9, 1898, to Chester and Margarite Widrig Carnrite, he attended school there. On April 8, 1918, he was married to the late Claudia Burlingame in Pulaski. Mr. Carnrite spent most of his married life in Pulaski, working as a laborer with the New York Central Railroad. Alter his wife died in 1967, he made his home with his children. Surviving are: one son, Charles of Syracuse; two daughters, Mrs. Winfred (Peggy) Walker, of Fulton, and Mrs. William (Sheila) Dedee of Buffalo; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Agne of Liverpool, Miss Mable Carnrite, Sandy Creek, Mrs. Mildred Balcom, Redfield and Ms. Hilda Colgrove and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral was 9:30 a.m. at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home and 10 a.m. At St. John's the Evangelist Church Tuesday where a Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated, by Rev. Thomas P. Whalen, pastor. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery.
