- JAMES W. SCHIEFER, 73, Rob Lane, Orlando, died Friday, Feb. 21. Mr. Schiefer was retired from Southern Bell. Born in Ben Avon, Pa., he moved to Central Florida in 1954. He was a member of Delaney Street Baptist Church. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Elon; son, David, Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Kathy Spradlin, Cumberland Gap, Tenn.; stepsons, John Hefferan Jr., Lon Hefferan, Steve Hefferan, all of Orlando, Rex Hefferan, Colorado Springs, Colo.; stepdaughter, Sherry Hefferan, Orlando; brother, Robert, Laughlintown, Pa.; six grandchildren.
