  • Notes
    • After an illness of one week, Roy G. Ingersoll died at ten o'clock Wednesday evening, February 2, at his home in Maple View, the community in which he had been a life long resident.

Mr. Ingersoll was born in Maple View April 15, 1887, son of Angel and Polly Parrish Ingersoll. He attended Union Square (later Maple View) district school. In 1907 he entered the employ of the New York Central railroad as a telegraph operator, the work which he followed until being taken ill in the latter part of January. He was a member of the Order of Railroad Telegraphers.

In the Winter of 1931 he was married to Miss Mae Rounds, who survives and was the father of one daughter, Shirley, also surviving.

Funeral services were held from his late home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, the reverend Allen Dodge, former pastor of the Mexico Methodist church and now pastor of Oswego Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Maple View cemetery.
