      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday Evening, November 15, 1906 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, November 15 - After an illness of several weeks Daniel I. Rima, a highly respected resident of this town, passed away early yesterday morning, aged about 82 years. Deceased was born in Herkimer County and had been a resident of this town many years, the majority of his lifetime being engaged in farming. Besides the widow he leaves two sons, Dealton H. Rima of Martinsburg and Marshall Rima of Auburn, and two daughters, Mrs. Erie B. Ryther of Pulaski, and Mrs. Cora Clifford of Auburn. The funeral will be held at the family home in the Lamb District, three miles south of this village, at 1 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Burial will be at South Richland.
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 21, 1906 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - D. I. Rima - Three miles south of Pulaski, Wednesday morning, occurred the death of Mr. David I. Rima, aged 82 years and 5 months. Mr. Rima had been in poor health for the past year, but the last few weeks failed very rapidly with kidney trouble until death came. He was born in the town of Schuyler, Herkimer County, May 31, 1824, but had resided on his present farm for the past 30 years. He is survived by a widow and four children, Dealton H. Rima, of Martensburg, Lewis County; Mrs. Cora A. Clifford, of Auburn; Mrs. Ella M. Ryther, of Pulaski, and Marshall J. Rima, of Auburn, all being present during his sickness and death. He is also survived by one brother, William Rima, of Shelby, Michigan, also seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was a kind husband and father and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services were conducted at his late home on Friday at one o'clock, Rev. A. I. Ehle, of Pulaski, officiating. Words were spoken fittingly to his sorrowing friends. Interment in South Richland cemetery. Dearest Father, thou hast left us and with sorrowing hearts we'll try to be submissive and strive to meet thee where we will never say goodbye.
