- Willis C. Buss
MALLORY-Willis C. Buss, 89, of Mallory died Tuesday at his home after a brief illness.
A native of Williamstown, Mr. Buss lived in Mallory 20 years and maintained a summer home near Chippewa Bay. He retired in 1965 as set-up foreman after 32 years with New Process Gear Division of Chrysler Corp.
Surviving are a son, James of Fulton; nine daughters, Betty Weaver of Central Square, Norma Ackerman and Helen "Sue" Britton, both of Hastings, Shirley Burghart and Dawn La Lone, both of Mallory, Florence Bulson of West Amboy, Hazel Lavoie of North Syracuse, Grace Potter of West Monroe and Fern Fidler of Parish; a sister Marjorie Mangus of Hastings; 53 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mallory.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St.
Contributions may be made to the Southern Oswego Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
