He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. Survivors: His wife of 34 years, the former Bonnie Russell; two daughters, Rebecca Sweeting of Camden and Gail Bulson of Williamstown; a son, James of Parish; his mother, Ruth Oyer Webb of Williamstown; two sisters, Corinne Tilton of McConnellsville and Mary Carty of Amboy; three brothers, Erwin of Redfield, Leonard of Williamstown and DeEarl of Chittenango; three grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sanborn-McDaniels & LaRobardiere Funeral Home. Burial, Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours, 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 109 Main St., Camden.
