- May 28, 2008 Christine Gail Sheedy, 50, of Hicksville, Long Island, died Wednesday after a brief illness. Born in Fulton, former Phoenix resident. Graduated from Hostra Uniondale University and was a school teacher at Carmen Road School. Christine was a member of the New York Teacher's Union. Surviving are her mother, Alice T. Allen of Phoenix; sons, Thomas D. Sheedy III and Patrick S. Sheedy, both of Hicksville; brother, Timothy Allen of Phoenix; sister, Donna Bill of Baldwinsville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services: 8:45 a.m. Monday at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, Bridge St., Phoenix. Surviving are sons Thomas D. Sheedy III and Patrick S. Sheedy of Long Island, mother, Alice T. Allen, brother, Timothy Allen, both of Phoenix, NY, sister Donna Allen Bill of Baldwinsville, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services at Vernon C.
